The MPL was produced by Walther Arms, and is a fully automatic submachine gun, hosting a detachable box magazine of 32 9mm cartidges. In use primarily by German and Mexican naval and police forces, the MPL is one half of Walthers "MP" series. The other being the MPK. Standing for "Machine Pistole Lang" and "Machine Pistole Kurz", long and short respectivly, and in production between 1963 and 1985.
Available for purchase for 1000 points in all Black Ops maps, usualy second room, along-side the PM63. A perfect pairing in the matter of fire-rate, being the highest with the exception of the Death Machine power-up. 144 total rounds, 24 of which fill each magazine. In terms of damage, as many bullets as the current round number and a knife attack will yield maximum points. Recoil is low, and the iron sight is more than manageable, resulting in easy headshots. The MPL is a midpoint, With the fire-rate and low recoil of the PM63, but nearer the munition supply of the MP5k. It indeed proves most effective of the trio, staying within comfortable effective ability through the first 10 rounds.
