The Wunderwaffe DG-2 is based on Group 935's teleporter technology, after realising their early tests simply reduced testing subjects to dust. Doctor Edward Richtofen headed it's creation, before being re-assigned to the The Giant facility's teleporter development. Without the help and funding from the Nazi party, group 935 would not be what it is today. At first entering an agreement that the head of the mysterious group, Doctor Maxis; would produce an unparalleled weapon for the German army, The Wunderwaffe. The same group would research other advanced technologies, such as the Die Glocke project and corpse re-animation, which were for the advancement of the human race.
In-Game[]
The Wunderwaffe was first available in a Chinese woodyard in what is now a Japanese controlled area of Manchuria entitled ‘Shi No Numa', The weapon is also available in Der Riese and Call of the Dead, in which it has two separate methods of access. The first is after defeating George Romero in solo, or after completing the main easter egg as a team. The second is gifted to you by Richtofen himself after sending him to paradise.
Recommended Perks[]
3 bursts is the maximum the Wunderwaffe DG-2 can load at one time. When fired, one of the 3 cell's burn out, and discharges a bolt of 115 infused lightning, causing instant death to whatever it touches, further, it executes a chain effect, latching onto a maximum of 9 other hoard members nearby, reducing them to a motionless heap. With a total of 18 cells, a potential of 180 zombies can fall. It's not all positive however, as being shocked by the Wunderwaffe DG-2 can enable you to be killed in one hit; However this effect only applies to The Giant in world at war only. Also, zombies killed by the Wunderwaffe DG-2 do not drop power-ups such as Insta-Kill and Double Points. This does not apply to Shi No Numa. Using the WunderWaffe to gather points is Ill-Advised, it's prime use is that of crowd control, and making gaps to move into safety.
Pack-a-Punch[]
At the cost of 5000 points, the Pack-a-Punch upgrade to the Wunderwaffe DG-2, promotes it to the Wunderwaffe DG-3 JZ. Now with 36 charges in total and a faster reload time, however the chain lighting will still only link a maximum of ten zombies at one time.
Ammunition[]
The WunderWaffe utilizes an element 115 powered electrical current, contained in the 3 vacuum tube tesla bulbs; each packed with over hundreds of thousands of amps of power.
